As a fan of the original anime that this is an adaptation of, I really enjoyed how they brought this series to life. The actors are well-cast (Iñaki Godoy as Luffy, Jeff Ward as Buggy, Alexander Maniatis as Kuro, and Steven John Ward as Mihawk are standouts), the mix of CG and practical effects for set design and characters is astounding, and it overall feels like the world of the original anime was brought to life extremely effectively. While there were some liberties taken, they work really well for what this series is going for, and some of the changes actually enhance certain moments/characters. The series is very epic and reminiscent of something like Pirates of the Caribbean, while the original is very cartoony and silly, so keep that in mind. Even so, I think this serves as an exceptional adaptation of a great series, and would recommend to anyone who's interested.
